NetEase Games and Everstone Studio have revealed a major new theme region, Hutuo, for their epic Wuxia ARPG Where Winds Meet, launching on November 13. This update introduces a gripping narrative arc, challenging players with the ultimate test of 'Xia' (the martial code of justice and guardianship), as well as new combat trials, two tactical board game modes, and the game's 1st Global Anniversary with generous rewards.

The update also includes Yuen Woo-ping's Dual Spears Martial Art, formidable new combat trials, and two new board game modes. The game's 1st Global Anniversary will coincide with the arrival of Hutuo, offering the most generous in-game rewards since launch for both veteran swordsmen and newcomers. The update's vision is to push the genre into rarely charted territory: full-scale war, exploring how the spirit of 'Xia' shines brightest in the torrent of conflict.

The battle of Zhongdu Bridge will be a key moment in the update, where players stand between waves of displaced civilians and an unstoppable tide of steel, and must decide how to answer the call of loyalty and justice. The update will also introduce an authentic, war-scarred frontier, with immersive environmental storytelling and varied perspectives on the wartime Jianghu.

Players will experience the wartime Jianghu from different viewpoints, uncovering the enduring light and everyday bravery of ordinary lives in the darkest corners of history. The update will also include fiercer frontline combat and world bosses, including Xiao Han, a fierce Khitan general empowered by Blood-forged Super Armor, and two haunting new World Bosses tied to Hutuo's past: Bingshen at Moonveil Knoll and the Khitan shaman Yelu Abuli.

The update will also include two new board game modes: Horse Racing Chess and Jianghu Tactics, which offer a rich mix of casual and tactical gameplay. The update's vision is to combine both real history and a huge world of both real and fantastic creatures, grand narrative and meticulous detail, to create an impressive open world that fills players with wonder.

Everstone Studio's vision is to employ international game production techniques to express the unique concept of Eastern arts, and to reconstruct the distant past with cutting-edge technologies and bountiful detail.
